Geospatial World Forum

The ELF project team successfully delivered a one day workshop at the Geospatial World Forum in Rotterdam on May 16th, introducing the delegates to the project, its aims and deliverables.  The GWF is an event for the global geospatial community showcasing state-of-the-art technology and its utility in the world economy. The conference aims at enriching the geospatial ecosystem, which comprises of the geospatial technology providers, users, policy makers and the academia with market intelligence, latest technology knowledge, success stories and capacity building. It therefore provided a highly relevant forum and audience for the ELF project.

The day featured many presentations both from the project team and from third parties.  The project overview presentation, delivered by Project Co-ordinator, Olaf Østensen, of Statens Kartverk of Norway is found here.
