Call for abstracts on INSPIRE validation

As a practical example of INSPIRE implementation, the ELF Project has supported the delivery of national web feature services and provided valuable feedback on the data specifications as they are implemented in different countries. This work is now helping others to meet INSPIRE legislation.

EuroGeographics, one of the ELF project partners, is now calling for abstracts for a joint INSPIRE workshop with EuroSDR to be held in France later this year. It particularly wants to hear from those with experience of validating INSPIRE data, metadata and services.

Presentation proposals are invited from open-source or commercial software providers, researchers and data providers. Closing date for abstracts is 8 April 2016 and the event takes place on 2 to 3 June. More information at http://www.eurogeographics.org/event/inspire-ken-workshop-validation-0
